EURid has announced that .eu is being launched on december 7, 2005.

The press release confirms the following :

Sunrise 1 :
From wednesday 7th december, 2005 through monday 6th february 2006.
Phase reserved to public bodies and holders of registered trademarks.

Sunrise 2 :
From tuesday 7th february through thursday 6th april 2006
Phase for the same as phase 1 and holders of other prior rights. In this phase, artistic names and company names may claim registration of a corresponding .eu domain.

Final phase : "first come, first served"
Starting on 7th april 2006.

If you have already applied on our website, we wish to indicate that
if a person has made several applications for the same domain name, only the first one will be maintained, we will cancel the other ones.
